This summer, Inter signed a player who will play a massive role this season, a man who coach Frank de Boer has insisted is "capable of doing it all." That man is Ever Banega, the kind of player many coaches would love to have at their disposal. Amid the shipwreck that was the 6-1 loss against Tottenham Hotspur, the Argentine's performance went unnoticed. He is a player who despite moving the ball quickly and efficiently, never looks rushed. Only two touches are ever needed, a maximum of three, for him to influence proceedings. GWG predictor It seems that de Boer has plans to utilise him in the centre of the park as opposed to in a supportive role in attack, with the Dutchman also revealing on Wednesday that his preferred system will be 4-3-3 this season. Either in the centre of the action or as one of the wider-positioned midfielders, the former Sevilla man certainly has the ability to perform the role with ease. Banega formation1 Having tried out a 4-4-2 last weekend in Limerick against Celtic, it became evident that both for the team and Banega, it wasn't a system that was going to suit the Biscione. Banega formation2 One thing that has been evident throughout the midfielder's career is that a coach shouldn't ask him to do the dirty work of snapping at players' ankles or chasing opponents around the field, leave him to the slick passing that has wowed fans in Spain. Banega formation3 However, he is neither a pure regista nor a natural playmaker either. His exact position is perhaps still up for debate even at the age of 28. It may be best to say that he merges the best of various positions into his performances. The second rebirth of his career could be about to take place under de Boer in Milan this season. In 2014, he enjoyed his first in Seville when Unai Emery looked for someone to replace Ivan Rakitic who had left for Barcelona. That summer he made the move to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and played a massive role in the side which won the Europa League final in each of the past two years, winning man of the match awards in both games. On Sunday in Verona, we will get a first indicator of how adaptable he will be to life in Serie A but his intelligence and ability should see him fit de Boer's side like a glove.
