Paul Pogba Bayern Juventus

After completing his move to Manchester United, Paul Pogba will begin a new chapter in his career this season as he returns to familiar surroundings. The French midfielder left Old Trafford on a free transfer in 2012, and has gone on to develop into one of Europe's leading stars, having played an influential role in the success enjoyed by Juventus in recent years. Many will raise their eyebrows over the fact that United are spending over €105 million on a player that they let go for nothing four years ago, and they would be right. GWG predictor Based on talent alone, it's difficult to argue that any player in the world should be valued above that mark. However, the fee that United have agreed to pay isn't solely based on that factor, as they're ultimately buying into Pogba on and off the pitch and delivering a key piece to Jose Mourinho's plans for sustained success at the club. The 23-year-old has the ability to become one of the best players in his position over the next decade if he can stay fit, avoid any long-term injury problems and keep the same motivation that he has had in Turin. In turn, from a football perspective, the move will make sense over a prolonged period of time provided that Pogba is a focal point in United's latest haul of silverware that takes them back to the top of the European football tree. Pogba United Further, United have a role to address in their line-up and Mourinho has decided that the French international is the man to fill the gap. Having brought in Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan already this summer, adding Pogba will essentially see the Portuguese tactician put in place a new spine to his team. As part of the bigger picture, Pogba's addition will be crucial in making the group stronger as a whole, and so United will feel as though their transfer strategy has put them in a good place moving forward.
Away from the pitch, Pogba also brings a brand of his own to the table, as a quick glance at his outreach on social media will show just how popular he is and how well he engages with supporters. That in turn will have a knock-on effect and benefit United indirectly, allowing them to continue to build their own name and reputation in terms of bringing the best and most high-profile players to the club. The money in football is now ridiculous, and it promises to get even worse in the years to come as justifying these transfer fees becomes more and more difficult. However, with the amount of money United bring in from commercial and sponsorship deals, it's debatable as to whether or not this fee will really hurt them in the long run. Paul Pogba Juventus Naturally, they'll hope that they've acquired a player that can help transform them into the dominant team in England again and also in Europe, despite what doubters of the midfielder may argue having perhaps been limited to seeing him at Euro 2016. While Pogba doesn't necessarily tick all the boxes for a player of this value, the fee will gradually become a distant memory if United restore previous glories and go on to create a new winning cycle, with their latest signing at the forefront of their success.
